Online teaching experience
It was a nice experience in my life. Learnt alot of things from online teaching. Eventhough there is no face to face interaction with students I got really a memmorame experience. Students involvement in this online class was really appreciable. 4th sem online teaching started on 9th February. I taught the students of standard 9 in victory vocational higher secondary school olathanni.First class i taught about vital capacity it was a nice experience for me. Through Google meet app students joined to the class at 7pm. Not all students respond to the class. Some students are very active and respond but some students not actively participate in the class. Everyday begins the class after checking their previous knowledge.Give works for them to done and to send it through whatsapp media.Ask questions before and aftre the presentation during class also asks questions to make sure that they are listening in the class. Online teaching not effective as that of the face to face classroom teaching. Then also it was a nice experience for me. Students also got a chance to learn about the technology.slide presentation, pictures, videos wrew used as teaching learning aids.These aids were made the class more effective. By showing pictures, videos related to the topic helps students to capture the content easily. For students also it was a nice experience in this pandemic situation. I taught up to types of joints in the chapter the biology of movement. After the 15 online teaching i conducted achievement test for the students. About 15 students participated in the test. After that conducted diagnostic test also. Students actively take part in it. Eventhough there is no face to face interaction with students they became more attached to me it may be the magic of teaching. Anyway I enjoyed all the days of teaching. Almost all the students actively participated but some of the students are not ready to respond, eventhough they are not respond they participated in the tests that makes me more happy. Totally it was an amazing for me.
